What is Circuit Training?
Circuit training is a fun sociable and time efficient workout session in a group environment. It involves a series of exercise "stations." Each station targets different muscle groups or focuses on cardiovascular activity. You move from one station to the next with minimal rest in between. This continuous movement keeps the heart rate elevated, providing cardiovascular benefits. Exercises at each station can be performed for a set amount of time (e.g., 30 seconds) or a specific number of repetitions (e.g., 15 repetitions).
